There are very few who consistently perform better in the second than the first. Every year there are guys who are deemed second half players that go out and prove that theory all wrong.

The best option for you is to target proven guys who are underachieving thus far, that you may be able to pick up on the cheap :-)

You might want to keep your eye on Milton Bradley. He has not done well this past month, but as he gets more familiar w/ NL pitchers he can hit for ave., power, and provide some SBs. ;-)

Milton Bradley's problem is that injury is still nagging him I think. When he gets healthy assuming Beltre's not on the DL yet he should put up some nice numbers.

What about Shawn Green? I remember he was dropped in a shallow 10 team league I was in a couple years ago RIGHT BEFORE HE WENT ON A HR TEAR! :-D
