You guys are looking at the closer sleeper for the year.
He was lights out in relief last season, and I think he can be a fantasy stud.
Glad I just snatched him up in all my leagues

Tony Pena is pretty inconsistent in this article. First he says he doesnt expect the move to be permanent (implying that MacDougal will resume his job at closer once he gets his control back in AAA). Then he predicts that Affeldt will save 40 games a season because he "has the attitude and the stuff to be one of the great closers of the game".
So which is it? I won't look silly later on for dropping MacDougal, will I?

Halleluluia Sp?
I am buddies with Gobble, and he said Affeldt was a sleeper pick this year.
So I have been riding him, and he is killing me, at least now he will have some VALUE..
TRADE BAIT..
Now go close some games

In Yahoo leagues you can now start him as an SP.

I am debating whether or not to go with my instinct and listen to these rumors, or wait out a day and hope no one else gets him. should i drop williamson (just got put on dl) for him?

kcbelieves: excellent, excellent work. I scooped Affeldt up before my league knows what hit them.
