I buy the rumor. It almost makes too much sense for KC to do something like this. Too bad Affeldt's taken in my league...oh well, I guess I can safely drop MacDougal for a stud closer like Jason Frasor :-o

dude unless your in a 2 team league, why have so many if any at all....Saves is ONE category...esp if its bigger than 5x5 its pointless to try and win saves,......get you some players that will help in multiple categories and maybe keep one ....I am in an 18 teamer and I have none......its a 7x7 league so its 1/14 of the points...big deal

the way i see it.

This makes total sense. Affeldt was lights out in relief last year and he sux as a starter. I have been thinking they might move Affeld to the closer role.

And honestly, I think he can be a fantasy closer stud. Im not going to miss out on possibly the closer sleeper of the year when I already have Nate Field (not even sure he is the current main closer, huisman got the last save). I droped Field for Affeldt. Even if this is untrue, then o well, dosent hurt me.

Affeldt will be the permanent closer I think contrary to whatever Pena says in the article.....I think Affeldt is takling it like a man....not what he wants but he knows he does it well
