Now that he has cleared waivers and been released by the Pirates, does anyone think he'll sign somewhere else for this year? He himself is kind of wish-washy on if he'll play or not.

Opinions :-?

Someone might sign him during a push for the playoffs as a rental.

Anything is possible, Montreal could sign him long term for all we know. :-)

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Thanks for leaving the Team Raul, I love having C Wilson in the lineup everyday. I hope he enjoys his retirement.

Not sure if it's been posted yet, but it appears that Mondesi may not be out of the picture this year yet. Probably nothing to get worked up about yet, but still something to keep an eye on.

A source close to Raul Mondesi said his return to the mainland is ''imminent,'' and he is intent on ''continuing his career.''
The Red Sox are one of approximately six teams that have contacted Mondesi, but the Angels may actually have a stonger interest and a bigger role to offer.
