Don't expect much this year! However not even us diehard Twins fan's saw Ford coming like that! We are a mess right now with 7 of 9 starters with at least a 15 day DL trip!
My thought on him this year IF he stays up is to hit 240-260 with 10-15 homers and playing 4-5 days a week..... someday he should be a poormans Jim Thome.
I'm a little more optimistic in the BA side -- hitters hit. It typically doesn't matter where. I think a .100-point drop off from AAA is perhaps a little extreme. I'd say .275-.300, but that's splitting hairs. I think you are spot on with the power numbers.
I'm picking him up in hopes that he can outhit Tex ... but saying that, means I can take almost anyone.

Fullmer is one of the busts of the year so far.....so much for his big "sleeper" status that we all thought would happen. That guy sucks....who can't hit in Arlington besides him.

They had Mench at DH tonight, and Fulmer didn't start the last two evenings either, cus Texas was facing leftys ... and apparently Fullmer can't face them very well either ... he sucks, oh well. so long, bye bye ...

Actually, I hopped on the Sean Casey bandwagon after the first week of the season and haven't missed the Fullmer submarine since. I hope Mench/Nix keep getting more PT in Texas rather than Fullmer, at least they have upside.

Casey has always been a great hitter ... but he doesn't show the power you would expect from a 1B. Good pickup ...
