Pitching .. The best thing about these Padres is a group of very talented and very young pitchers: Brian Lawrence, Jake Peavy, Oliver Perez and Adam Eaton. They all have 1st or 2nd starter potential with the best of the Fab 4 bieng .. Perez.
Bat's .. alot of people need to have career years for San Diego to have any chance. "Umm and that's all I have to say about that." Forest .. Forest Gump
Bullpen .. everybody from AAA on up opens the season as a future closer. Trevor is 37 and he is going to need to be replaced sometime. Obviously sooner than the organization expected.
Defense .. San Diego has fielded among the game's worst defenses the past few years, but this spring's has been terrible. They have committed 18 more Cactus League errors than their opponents. Wasn't Burrough's supposed to be an upgrade defensively over Phil Nevin?
Prediction NL West.
1. Padres .. Fab 4 Set's Record for Consecutive No-No's at 5. Player's refuse to be quoted, but there is talk of "Angels in the Outfield", as Rondell White accept's his MVP trophy.
2. D'backs .. Randy's arm actually flip's across the plate. It's replayed so many times on TV that Guiness add's it under a new category "TV Replay's"
3. Giants .. Barry tests positive for roid's .. Selig Solve's All 73* . Barry quit's game. Santiago suffer's Freak accident and can't get up and must spend the rest of his life in a Catcher's Crouch.
4. Rockies .. I sure as hell wasn't going to put the Dodger's 4th.
5. Dodger's .. FOX swap's team's with Disney. R. Murdoch is quoted as saying "I want a winner." Disney moves Dodger's to Alaska, to help promote it's new "Winter Theme Park". Players have some difficulty adjusting.
