I finally pull off a trade and it gets 3 objections right off the bat. Do some people get enjoyment by just hitting the object button. I trade Hudson and pick up Sexson. Nothing wrong, as fair as fair can be. Maybe we have some DR. of Psych in the house and they can explain the need to tweek and touch the looovvvveee,,,, I mean the object button.

I am with you 100%. I also hate it, and have had a decent number of trades vetoed. Abusing the veto is one of the major problems in fantasy baseball as far as I'm concerned....
not the greatest trade I've ever seen, but not vetoable.
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

Don't get me wrong, this probably won't get denied by the CBS commish. The thing I hate is people hitting it just to hit it, then not offering any backing for it. By the way Hudson was expendable with Schilling, Clemens, Sheets, W. Miller, Millwood, Pettite, Herges and Julio as the rest of my staff. Palmerio was my 1B and will now be playing Utility.

i still think its necessary. i just vetoed on in my league (i have never voted that way before) because some guy was trading silva and drew for vlad and jeter. then he got mad and posted this mean message for all of us, claiming the trade was "relatively" fair, which might be true if you are comparing it "relative" to the trade where the pilgrims aquired manhattan island for a few beads, but otherwise, its pretty agregious.

LMAO , now if only the veto was in place back then, who knows how the world would of ended up
I agree that it is useful in some cases, but I try to put myself in the leagues with the most competitive and knowledgable managers around to avoid trades like that. That being said, I still encounter managers who are hypersensitive with the veto, and seem to use it too liberally in my opinion...
