Funny Thing With MLB TV

Anyone ever notice on MLB TV during inning changes when there normally would be commercials they leave the camera and mic on.So far this season I have heard the Padres announcer singing Runnin with the devil by Van Halen and he was also singing the guitar parts.I heard the Brewers announcer say a pop up was a jar of baby shit after the inning was over.And I also heard a girl presumably a producer of some sort come in and say something inaudible to Hawk Harrelson and when she left he said to DJ that she was a dumb bitch.LMAO!Maybe no one else thinks its funny but I wait for the inning to get over so I can hear these guys talk.

I've noticed the same thing, but haven't been as fortunate as you have with the result...usually it's just some muffled dialogue or crowd noise...I'm definitely going to pay more attention now though.

haha yeah i've noticed that for quite a while now. though i haven't been able to hear somethings as good as those. announcers do tend to sing a lot though.....

It's the same thing as when you're watching a game on Extra Innings and the game is on a local type channel.

I was watching an Arizona/San Diego game in San Diego and weirdly enough, Mark Grace also called a flyball that went to the warning trade a "can of baby shit" in the new stadium...as opposed to a HR in the old stadium. Guess that's the new catch phrase....

Wow I've never noticed anythign like that at all....I always see the commercials that they put on the air Do you ever see the commercials? Maybe I jsut watch the ones that happen to show commercials. I'm missing out, damn

Regarding commercials on broadcasts, they must have a deal where they don't have to show them. They usually just show the field and you can hear the announcers. Like I said, if you get the MLB package and get an out-of-area broadcast (like on a WB affiliate in the area), they usually do the same on MLB Extra Innings. Maybe it's a Fox Sports Net contract thing. I don't know.
