In the last 4 games (since Sosa has been out), the Cubs have scored: 3, 4, 0, 4 runs. That's not to say they don't have the ability to blow up, but even a hot Alou doesn't mean much if the top of that order is still ice cold and not getting on base. Solo HRs don't kill pitchers, 2-4 run HRs do.
Lee won't wake up until June...he does this every year.
I don't want to be to blame here if Woody does poorly, but his chances are great looking at stat trends. If only baseball was actually this predictable though
