I have D Young coming off the DL hopefully next week but I have Chavez at 3B and M Cabrera in LF (and backing up Chavez at 3B) so I would love to deal him. Do I gamble that he will do well and trade him after he is back with value high? Or do try to unload him before he is off the DL and take a small hit in value because of the injury?
The main question - if you have a guy on the DL and have already filled his spot, do you prefer to trade him before he comes off the DL or wait and see what he does when he's back in action?
