Any news on him lately? I haven't seen or heard anything lately and was just curious.

I don't know. Been debating going after him for cheap, but I fear the Stadium has really sapped his power.
I'm back. Sorta.

Do not boo Johnny.

i think sheffield is the kind of guy that u wanna have on your team, simply cuz u know he can hit. The kind of guy you get him, and come back in September and dont worry about him in between. Hitters hit, so i think he'll be fine. I'd have him and chance a bad year from him....which is what? 25 bombs, .300 avg, 100 RBI's? :-D

At this point, I'd be thrilled if those end up being his season numbers. Right now he's on pace to hit 12 HRs, 75 RBI, 0SB and bat .264.

Either way, compared to last year's numbers - 39 HR, 132 RBI, 18 SB and 330 AVG. He's bound to disappoint fantasy owners either way. He was my second pick.

Usually, I'm positive about players, but the other day I made a post about Berkman's power numbers being down this month and he went on to hit home runs in back to back days. It's my new strategy. Reverse psychology.

Uh, oh. Did I just say that out loud? :-o
