Wolf began feeling soreness during his outing Monday. "That'll be his call when he comes back," manager Larry Bowa said. "He said he felt better today, but obviously we won't take any chances. If he has stiffness, it's something we'll have to wait on. The doctor said it was a little tendinitis, maybe." Amaury Telemaco will start Saturday unless he's needed out of the pen on Thursday or Friday.

Wolf blanked Colorado until the seventh inning of Philadelphia's 7-6 loss to the Rockies on Monday. He wasn't pleased to come out after allowing a bloop single with one out and the Phillies leading 6-1 in the seventh, but saw the trainer immediately after exiting.
"That'll be his call when he comes back," Bowa said. "He said he felt better today, but obviously we won't take any chances. If he has stiffness, it's something we'll have to wait on. The doctor said it was a little tendinitis, maybe."
Wolf, an All-Star last season, is 2-3 with a 3.16 ERA in eight starts. Amaury Telemaco could start in Wolf's place against San Diego on Saturday, but Bowa hasn't made a final decision.
The Phillies already are without closer Billy Wagner (groin), reliever Roberto Hernandez (calf) and second baseman Placido Polanco (quadriceps). They also placed reliever Brian Powell on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday because of neck spasms, and called up Geoff Geary from Triple-A Scranton Wilkes-Barre. Powell pitched one scoreless inning in his only appearance since being coming up.
