According to RotoWorld Thome will sit for at least the next 2 games, including tonight to rest straind ligaments in his finger.

Now according to local Thome will most likely sit until next Tuesday. That is according to 610 WIP sports radio in Philly.

Good lord. The way things are going my H2H lineup is going to be about as potent as a vacancy team.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Can anyone give me some sympathy? I've had Posada, Thome, Boone, and Sosa on the same team in the last week. There ain't no room on the bench.. do you think Yahoo would be willing to add a 'Stand Outside the Dugout' feature to create some room?

Tell me about it. I've lost Thome, Giles, Wagner, and Glaus to go along with my early Prior and Preston Wilson explosions. Glaus I expected at some point, but the rest is just getting silly. 4 of my top 5 picks dead. 6 of my top 10. Another reason for me to hate H2H.

so many injuries to top players this year. Prior, Wood (who will miss another start btw), Wilson, Glaus, Giles, Sosa, and Thome, to name a few. Lets not forget Nomar also. Nomar has been the only serious injury ive had this year, so I consider myself lucky.

I hope this does not lead to the DL. I am upset, but I have Delgado or Huff to take his place.
