Omar Vizquel: A return to form or a short cameo?

Yeah, he's got a great history of stealing bases and hitting for solid average, but the past few years he's dwindled in numbers. Does anybody think he's back to 20 SB/.300 or is it just an extended hot streak?

Valentin has been offered, but he isn't that pretty either in a league counting Ks. What do you all think about Old Man Omar?

my vote is cameo. he doesnt look like he cares much in the field, committing careless errors and not really carrying himself like the team leader of the past....maybe this is what naturally happens when you seem to have played in the MLB for 25 years....

i picked him up when Marcus Giles went on the DL. I have Furcal, but this pinch hitting bullshit just doesn't cut it. so i'm playing Omar until Furcal is back up to health.

Yeah, I'm wondering if Vizquel is getting the start that many people wanted Alomar to have, only to fizzle down the road anyway. I'm thinking he's a well spread out hot hand, but that his numbers will decrease once he and other Indians cool off to their projected fate.

I'm looking for Omar to hit about 285 with 15-18 SB's, not a bad fill in until Reyes gets his act together.
