If Pujols isn't the best player in baseball then he's second best by a hair.

Pujols is one of the hardest workers. He always works on his swing and reviews tape. He should be able to work out the problems. However, he could be past his prime now that he is 28, I mean 22.

I'm really getting a bit annoyed at these posts. Pujols could be out of his prime? Perhaps you haven't watched this guy over the past 3 years and how much he improves. A slow start (still with 9 homeruns, mind you) warrants these types of comments and degrades him to the likes of Lyle Overbay and Ben Sheets? Do you have no respect for Pujols and what he's accomplished in his 3 years in the MLB? These posts are just disgusting to me.

Ha. Watch out. I was just pointing out the fact that some people speculate that he is really 28ish instead of 23ish. Some people believe that he is in his peak right now, which is hard to disagree with. If he isn't in his prime right now, he will be the greatest ever when he does reach that peak. I think he is awesome, I was making an attempt at sarcaism. Like I said before, Pujols is a hard worker so he should make the adjustments just fine.

Yeah, I can understand the age issue, but even if he is 28 right now, he's still one of if not THE best player in baseball so his peak is pretty damn good. If he's not 28 then that's pretty damn scary.

Interesting point on the split vs. lefties and righties. I'm pretty confident that Pujols manager in our league doesn't read up on stuff here so, as long as the 'secret' is safe, he won't even consider platooning...
