I grabbed him as a reserve outfielder and he's sat the last 2 games.
Thought he was a starter, am I wrong. At the time I debated about
picking up Carl Everett instead of Catalanotto, appreciate input.

I didnt hear anything about him being hurt, and I watched most of the jays game last night (until I switched to Randy's performance in the 6th).

Also, he pinch hit today.

I think hes fine.

be that as it may, he didn't play today because of some soreness somewhere.

He has tightness in his groin. Not sure how serious it is, but like someone said he did pinch hit today... but he hit into a DP and didn't seem to be running that well.

Cat has nagging back problems that flare up from time to time, and now evidently there's a groin strain. Nothing serious, but he's never gone higher than 133 GP in any season. Occasional pine time is something his owners have to put up with annually, but he's still a nice contributor for average. Personally, I'd rather have Cat than Everett at this point in their careers.
