What happened to Bagwell's power???

This is from spring training...

Numbers aren't Bagwell's main concern during Spring Training. His goals this time of year center around preparing for the season, working out the kinks in his very complicated swing, and, most importantly, dealing with not only an arthritic right shoulder, but the burden of having to field questions about it on a daily basis.

As always, Bagwell handles everything like a pro.

"It stinks, but it'll be all right," he said of his shoulder. "It's just something I'll have to deal with. I can still be productive out there. I can't make the plays that I used to make, and everybody knows that. But I can still make the routine plays, which is all I need to do."

He has accepted the fact that he will always feel pain in the shoulder, ever since he had surgery 2 1/2 years ago to repair a torn labrum and remove several loose bone fragments. He knows that his mastery of the 3-6-3 double play is now limited to one or two appearances per season.

I didn't even bother to read any of the replies.

Go check the stats, about 1 year ago around this time Bagwell went into a major power outage slump and didn't home much for about 2 months, before the slump he was leading the majors in homers.

Then eventually, it might have even been like late June, just when everyone had given up on bags, he came back around and went on a HR tare.
