It looks like B.K. is on his way out of Boston. I guess they don't want him as a starter or reliever. Any word on who will acquire him and if he'll be used as a closer again? Although it's a longshot, I'd like to see him dealt to Cleveland or Toronto and become either team's closer. At least B.K. would have some nice value again.
I've heard that Oakland is looking at him to round out their 'pen. The problem is, he just got a 2 year 10 million dollar deal from the Sox. That kind of contract for an unknown commodity is tough to move. I'm hoping he figures it out and ends up as a wildcard in the Sox pen.
I see him being dealt--seems the Sox have unfortunately given up on him. I think he'll still be good, but perhaps in a less stressful town. Oakland or Seattle could work. Remember, he's just 24.
If the Sx are willing to eat some salary, Cleveland, Oakland, and Kansas City are all good places. Yankees need him to but fat chance those two teams are ever gonna make another deal.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!
I thought the whole point of BK going to Boston to begin with was so that he wouldn't close because he wanted to start? I know that in the end Kim might not have much say in it. But would a team really want to acquire him for a role that he doesn't want to be used for?
I for one would think it would be a bad move for Cleveland to get him. Cleveland has loads of young arms already waiting to get a shot in the bigs. I would much rather see Kyle Denney get called up than have to watch BK get sent over to the tribe for some of our young talent. Unless this was some sort of deal that sent Omar (did I really just mention Omar leaving? ), I don't like it. The Indians don't need another untrustworthy arm in the bullpen.
They had a chance at Urbina, passed up on it. They had many other free agents in offseason, passed up on them. They would be contending for the lead in the division (I believe) if the bullpen would do a half-way decent job. <img src=/forums/images/smiles/kiss.gif>

Heh... Not denying that *cough* sig *cough*... I just don't like BK, that's all.
Plus the bullpen has looked better as of late. I haven't had to add a half game in a while.
