In the top of the 9th, Jorge Posada dances over a ball at his feet, that does not hit him. He puts on an Academy-Award winning performance and is incorrectly rewarded with first base. With two outs, he gets gunned by Guerrero at home plate. After the commercial break, they come back to show the play at the plate and the Yankees' announcing douches are trying to say that Posada's foot got in there, not mentioning that the chump shouldn't have been on base in the first place!

I have a feeling this is going to turn out to be a long thread with people resenting anti-Yankee "propaganda"
Anyway, I saw Posada acting like he was hit, and I saw him safe at home plate. Maybe the home plate ump was making up for the missed call Who knows. But it was 2 bad calls that somewhat neutralized themselves.

So, for a team that the announcers work for, they are supposed to harp on whether he should have been on base?? If the ump said that it hit him, then maybe it did. Unfortunately for the Yankee haters (in this case), what the ump says is final.
Umpires, much like announcers, are human. They make mistakes.
