Is his arm going to fall off? 133 pitches through 8...and with Herges being the BS master...will he finish it off?

God, I was watching that to. I'm torn between the CGSO or him being able to pitch again. I'd rather him shut it down now and take the chance with the pen. :-o

He's going for it! 1 Hit Shutout. Let hope Alou didnt make that wrong choice.

Try trading him if you can...sure it's just one outing, but it might be foretelling what Alou plans on doing with his starters, with Herges being the BSO. Plus, Schmidt has been on rocky ground all year with his injury recovery.
