Now there's a toss up. Numbers are close, teams of equal quality for run support, more or less. Pavano's backed by a better closer.... edge Carl.

I'll take Pavano. Watched him pitch a few weeks ago and that ball had movement! Redman is a Maddux-like finesse pitcher. Already it's showing up in better Ks ratio for Pavano. Better WHIP too.
