Thoughts on a Mid-season draft

It's a mid-season non-keeper roto league.

Offensive Cats: R, HR, RBI, SB, OBP, SLG
Pitching Cats: W, K, S, ERA, WHIP, HR

I'm hoping to get some thoughts so I can modify my pre-draft rankings based on how the season has progressed so far.

Appreciate any opinions on how the first few rounds might look. I noticed that there are no mid-season mock drafts going on currently.

I imagine my first 7 or so might look like this:

Beltran
A-Rod
Pujols
Vlad
Helton
Soriano
Bonds

I think #1 has to be A-Rod considering he's got a lot of heating up to do, is stealing bases & is playing in a better team. Beltran could get traded to a pitchers park & plays a much more fruitful position. That's all the thoughts I have for you though

i'd move arod to #1 based on positional versatility.

one thing you might want to do is take players' preseason projections, subtract current performance and see what the leaves for the rest of the season. I expect arod to blow some of the other people on that list away, considering that he has been underperforming slightly.
