If we are going with all time injuries, how about Dave Draveky's (sp?) last pitch? Saw his arm break in half at the elbow. Pretty nasty stuff.
Any wrestling fans remember Sid Vicious's leg breaking in half when he was with WCW? Jumped off the middle rope and snap! Half his shin was just hanging there.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
LMAO. All very funny. Great thread. Forgot about Coleman.. haha
As for Bill Grammatica, it should be pointed out that the field goal he was celebrating was like a 33 yarder and in the second quarter if memory serves me correct. what a dork.
- Robert Edwards breaking his leg in for-fun game.
- Moises Alou a while back, which was already mentioned. It was very similar to Dmitri Young's incident.
- Robin Ventura sliding into home plate and breaking his ankle, while playing with Chicago. I think it was in ST, and it was NASTY.
- Psycho Sid (if you consider wrestling a sport) jumping off the top rope and breaking his lower leg I can barely watch that video. I can almost feel the pain.
And also, I know somebody who threw out their hip while sneezing. So I can somewhat see where Sosa is coming from
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
and for us baseball fans...when Jason Kendall stepped on first...that was nasty...

England's Worcester Canoe Club set the world record for paddling a hand-propelled bathtub. The 25 man team covered a distance of 55 miles, 425 yards in 24 hours on September 28 and 29, 1979.
DHC.....I'm surprised you or wrveres hasn't mentioned my "falling out of bed whiel playing XBox" injury. If it was baseball season I'd have been on the 15 day DL with a lacerated thumb It's funny to laugh at now, but it hurt like hell at the time.

i don't think there were any injuries after this but ventura getting a noogie from ryan was pretty darn funny.
the worst sports injury that I've ever seen (it still makes me shudder) is a guys arm breaking in half in an arm wrestling contest . uuurrrrrgggghhhh...
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.
