How may bases will A-Rod steal this year?

Postby The_Idiot » Tue May 18, 2004 12:38 pm

What is your prediction? He is on pace for about 26 stolen bases this year. His career high is 46 in 1998. Since then is high is only 21. Do you think he will keep his current pace up? Can I expect 25 SBs from A-Rod?

He's extra motivated this year--gotta please those Yankee fans. If he can't hit 50+ HR's, he'll make up by stealing 24 bags.

Ill say 15-20. Guys in the 3 hole usually dont steal much, and you cant afford them getting outs in front of the heavy hitters.

i also agree with 15-20.

If I were the yanks though I'd bat him 2nd. I think jeter should either lead off (when lofton isn't playing) or bat 6th or 7th... if he were to bat 2nd I'd go for 20-25SB, maybe more.
