My team: Seatown Sluggers

Hey, I have a team in a 13 member Yahoo rotisserie league. I am curently 5th, but there are less then 60 points between me and 2nd.

Here is the point system:
R (0.5), 1B (1), 2B (2), 3B (3), HR (4), RBI (1), SB (2), CS (-1), BB (1), IBB (1), HBP (1), E (-1)
W (10), L (-5), SV (5), OUT (1), ER (-4), BB (-1), HBP (-1), K (1), WP (-1), BLK (-1)

Here is my line-up:
C - J. Kendall
1B - J. Bagwell
2B - B. Boone
3B - A. Beltre
SS - M. Tejada
LF - L. Gonzalez
CF - S. Podsednik
RF - I. Suzuki
Util. - A. Dunn
BN - J. DaVanon (just picked him up a week ago)
BN - O. Hudson (just picked him up since Boone has had back probloms)

SP - P. Martinez
SP - J. Peavey
SP - F. Garcia
SP - A. Lieter
RP - D. Kolb
RP - B. Looper
RP - T. Hoffman
BN - J. Santana
BN - J. Moyer

My biggest problom has been a lack of wins, but I think with my starting pitching, these guys are going to turn it around soon. I have made a bunch of trades and pickups to get this line up, what do you guys think of it? Who do you think is going to be worthless? Who do you think is going to improve or drop off? Do you think I have a chance for a good season?

I would look at getting a big slugger, ex. Beltran, Chavez, etc. Someone who can help you greatly offensively, all around.

Thanks Gateman, so do you not think L. Gon. and Dunn are enough for offensive power? Do you think they are going to fall back into average numbers?

I like your lineup, I think you're strong in every position, I'm just concerned somewhat at the age of your pitching, leiter and moyer are at the stages of their career where their performance may tail off this season (though moyer's pitch speed may have caused him to age less). See if you can get some good young arms.

I have been worried about that too, I figured Moyer would be his ol' self but he hasn't, I have been keeping him on the bench, we have a 1200 inning max. for pitchers in our league, so keeping him benched has not hurt at all. I was hoping I could bench Lieter as soon as either Moyer or Santana started preforming, I think I will soon switch Lieter with Santana, Santana's last two starts have been great. Lieter's great start could be slipping, and although his ERA has been good, he has not had any help in getting wins.

I made some changes, I am in the process of droping DaVanon for Nix int he outfield bench spot if the waiver goes through.

I also picked up P. Wilson and dropped Moyer

What do you think of these changes?
