my guess is that atlanta hasnt officially put giles on the DL. yahoo wont make any changes until it becomes official. then there is usually a one day or so delay between the team officially puts him on the DL to the time yahoo updates it.

its an off day for atlanta. no need to make a move until just before the game tomorrow. unfortunately they dont take into account the needs of fantasy owners when they make their decisions.

It is actually very common in Atlanta to do stuff like this. They hate revealing how hurt their players are (it still seems useless to try to hide someones broken collar bone though

)

They did the same thing with Prior. They didn't put him on the DL until after the first game. That little delay forced me to drop Sabbathia to pick up David Ortiz and then Sabbathia got picked up.
Oh well.
