What is your opinion of him? Over the past month his stats have been pretty good - better than Choi and Teixeira - will he keep this up over the season???? He's also valuable 'cause he's eligible at 1B and OF on Yahoo.

Expect 15-20 HRs, 15-20 SBs (he's running more than ever so far), and a .260-.270 average. His only problem is that he doesn't get many RBI chances, and doesn't score a lot of runs.
Wilkerson is a FA in my league, I've been watching him closely b/c I like his steals and I wouldn't mind a backup 1B. My question is, the only person I can drop to pick him up would be Geoff Jenkins, think that's a mistake?
you know I have been wondering the same thing. I have hafner, pujols, choi, and nick johnson on the dl -- all slotted for 1b and CI. worth picking up wilkerson?
I would drop Choi like I said earlier, besides his hot start, he doesn't have much value. Wilkerson will give you some steals, maybe even a better average, slightly less power numbers, and much more position flexibility. Plus, he starts vs. righties and lefties, so you don't have to worry about whether or not Choi is going to start.
