I've been playing with these guys for about five years. I gotta beat them one of these years. Is it this year?

I don't think this is the year without some nifty waiver pick-ups or a great trade.

Problems:
1. Your catcher, 1st base, and Utility are really weak. I would think that you could get someone better than Sanchez of the wire.

2. Pettite, Leiter, and Graves are all question marks. I personally don't expect great production out of these 3 and I think that in a ten team league you could pick up a promising young arm off the waiver wire (look at the fantasy baseball talk forum for some ideas)

3. Your OF is also filled with question marks. Besides Abreu and Williams you have some serious gambles in Gonzo, Winn, and Payton.

Solutions:
1. Search the Free Agents and Waiver wire for some young arms that could give you an edge. (maybe a strikout guy, you are low there)

2. Pray for some of the other guys' players to go down.
