Rotoworld: "Garret Anderson out for season!"

I'm not saying this isn't true, but it's very suspect.

There is no news under player news or breaking news.

I have not seen it at any other venue either.

I agree it's suspect. I just looked on Sportsline, SI.com, Fox, ESPN and the Angels website and have not seen any other evidence of him being out for the season. Although, they do agree that nobody knows when of if he's coming back.

Maybe the employee at Rotoworld knows some inside information. If not, he should be reprimanded for using his opinion as an "Expected Return".

I think they basically just misworded the length of time next to his name.

The report says he's out indefinately pending further tests, and that's basically what everyone has known. Hopefully we'll no more next week (and hopefully it will be good news )

Gammons in his chat said he hadn't heard anything new about Garrett. While I love rotoworld, I am not jumping to conclusions yet. I don't own him, and am too scared to trade for him, but imagine how cheaply you could get him if you posted the rotoworld link on your league's message board.

My friend who owns Garrett saw this and is mad. If this could be in fact, false then should I try to get him? For say somebody like Juan Gonzalez??

I would, Juan is a season-ending injury waiting to happen.

Even if you lose him, it would almost be a blessing.

Probably, but it never hurts...but like I said, I'm still too chicken to give him anything worthwhile. Season ending injuries are awfully scary.
