There has been no progress in Garret Anderson's recovery from a mysterious back ailment. In fact, doctors still don't know what is causing Anderson stiffness and pain in his upper back and shoulders. The Angels' outfielder will undergo another round of tests this week, but in the meantime he is not to engage in any baseball related activities. Anderson should be considered out of action indefinitely.
Glad I picked up Jose Guillen.

At no point in that quote does it say he's out for the season. And as far as picking up Jose Guillen, he was an everyday starter before and now he has less protection, so what makes picking him up any better than earlier in the season?

If you click on the link, It says he's out for the season. Previously, there wasn't room for Guillen to play on my squad everyday. Now there is. That was my only point.

Since Anderson has been on the DL all this time, why wasn't Guillen playing in the first place?
Rotoworld's jumping the gun here. No one said Anderson is out for the year. He might be, but no one knows. He's undergoing another round of tests this week.
