I know he played all his games at the heavenly Coors field this wee.. but this past week shouldnt go unmentioned..
Burnitz was 14-for-29 (.483) with three home runs and 13 RBI over the past seven games.
I know alot of people i've seen in here say he isnt worth a roster spot in most leagues. But you cant ignore them stats.
It puts his avg up to .311,29RBI, 10HR. Not bad for someone I picked up off the WW 2 weeks ago.
Well he's pretty hot right now and my team has some nagging injuries forcing me to start him away from home this week. I hope he carries it over next week.
i've thought about using that strategy with burnitz, but that would mean dropping either carlos lee or jermaine dye from my team...would burnitz's production at coor's make up for the loss of one of those guys?
This field, this game, it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh people will come Ray, people will most definitely come.

No. It only works if you have plenty of bench and / or roster spots available.
