Question about Yahoo

Postby Mark86 » Sun May 16, 2004 9:23 pm

I have a general question about the way it works when somebody is on waivers. If my league has a waiver setting of 2 days and a player was dropped today, what time does the player go off of waivers? Is it at midnight on May 18 or is it exactly 48 hours after the player was actually dropped? This is my first year using Yahoo and I do not understand how the waivers thing works. Thanks!

If he dropped him today than he's on waivers today, tomorrow and the day after. Then, you can pick him up off of free agency. But, it is not at 12:00 for everybody, is it at 12:00 Pacific time, which happens to be 3:00 in the morning for me (they do that so nobody gains an advantage by living in more easterly time zones)
An unanswered question is better than an unquestioned answer

Thank you! It is also 3:00 for me too because I am in the eastern time zone. I did not understand if it was two days exactly after the time he was dropped or if it was a fixed time.
