Do we really need an update every time Graves gets a save? Wait until he gets traded and July and then tell me how many saves he is getting setting up Rivera or Wagner. I would trade that guy so fast if I had him before the trade rumors start in earnest in a month or so.

I just don't understand why any team would trade for Graves to be their setup man. His numbers aren't all that impressive and he gets payed way too much and has way too little long term value to offset it. There are at least a dozen relievers for bad teams that I'd go after before Graves if I needed relief help around the trade deadline.
All true, but with the wild card format, there are typically at least a dozen teams in contention in July who need bullpen help help. No one understood why someone would trade for Benitez for this reason, but that happened last year, twice.
But Benitez had had a better career, put up much better numbers than Graves over it, especially in the WHIP and K/IP categories, got paid less at the time and was younger. The team that deals for Graves down the road is making a huge mistake, maybe it will happen but if it does I just don't get it. Now I did trade Graves because I don't believe he'll keep this up, I got my 14 saves out of him and included him in the backend of a Peavy/Graves for Oswalt/Borowski trade since I think Borowski will come out of it and even if he doesn't Oswalt added to Johnson, Vazquez, Sheets, Miller, wolf in my H2H league should give me enough production to absorb any ill effects from borowski.
Grave's can get as many saves as he wants, he's also good for one BS and possible loss a week, in my leagues loss's/whip/ERA count and I could'nt deal with him blowing up 3 cats just to win one so I dumped him, and replaced him with Nathan who may not get as many saves, but has been lights out....Last yr I had Wagner and Gange man I miss that, as it is I may just punt saves this yr....
