danka - lee and chip have been poor in weeks past; i'm very likely going to start the hotter figgins and lawton; lee has very poor power numbers and starting 2 white sox can be deadly as their bats sleep often; chippers hammy is scaring me as well; i'm probably wrong but i'm going to play the hotter hands
well, this season to date, i'd take all of the following over any of my group -
top tier - vlad, beltran, bonds, pujols
tier below (maggs is flirting with this tier) - cabrera, abreu, dunn, lugo, manny. posednik, sosa
not drafted/drafted low but playing well above my guys (and would be starting in that group based on their #'s) - finley, craig wilson, burnitz, mora, lawton, jones, rondell
honestly - my group has been low performing so far; i'd never drop them and understand their long-term value but lawton and figgins are going to push for starts this week
lawton and figgins have been hot as of late, and deservedly so they should see some attention, but it's only a matter of time before sheff goes off. and i have maggs on my team and he's been pretty darn solid. c. lee on the other hand has been awful. for the next week, ya, maybe give lawton and figgins a try. but remember that they both hit higher in the lineup than sheff, maggs, and chipper. well i guess figgins has been hitting third, but the power in that lineup is vlad (4th) and thereafter, so i think rbi's will be tough to come by from those two (lawton leads off). the angels are also struggling because of so many injuries, i can't see figgins continuing this tear. and the braves haven't been hitting well lately either, so i'd go
sheff
maggs
chipper
lawton
figgins - he'd never hit a HR until last week against the yanks, and if you'd see his swing you'd understand why, more of a contact hitter w/ speed.
