Sabathia is transforming into a pitcher and not just a thrower anymore. I don't think he'll have k numbers like 2001 any time soon. 150k on the year would probably be a realistic ceiling. I'd take the drop offf in K's for the points he's lost so far in his ERA and WHIP.

I do like the trade off. However, K rate is the best indicator for
future success, not the only indicator of course. I guess I shouldn't worry until his rate goes below 4.5. I doubt that will happen this year.
