What makes it even more interesting is that Crosby is having a great game and is in my league's FA. He has a homer, a single, and a stolen base, and it's only the 7th inning.
I agree he's sucked so far. While he may heat up, Lugo seems to be doing ok in the interim and I will have to kiss Berroa good bye when Sexson and D. Young come back. Very disappointing....
The entire KC lineup has been cold this series. Beltran has one hit or so...Sweeney hasn't done much...etc.
In fact, I just noticed that my three roto starters in that game today went a combined 1/12...Beltran, Sweeney, Dye. I'm in a heated three way battle for 2nd, too.

I agree mostly, but for some reason i saw a good amount of hype for Berroa. Not sure if this was the general ideas of most owners or just was i saw before the season started. Like GameOn says he is a free swinger, just look at his k/BB ratio to see that, so he will be prone to slumps. The thing w/ Berroa though and other hitters that can still do well being free swingers (soriano comes to mind) is that they are vastly more talented hitters then he is. A season before he came up he had a horrible offensive year in triple a. A lot of this shows me that he wasn't as good as last years numbers and that most likely pitchers know how to go about him now. You can say he will eventually come around, but I for one didn't believe he would at the beginning of the year and def don't believe it now.
