Lawton's Sbs and HR

After his 2 steals today Matt Lawton has now amassed 7 Hr and Steals so far this season, really some great numbers. He is also hitting 311 which is the greatest abberration for him as the last few years hes been lucky to crack 250. my question is this: has lawton always been this kind of player with 20/20 minimum if he plays the whole season but always gets injured which is whats holding him back OR is he just a hot starter and will just cool off pretty soon?

he's a fa in one of my leagues but I can't bring myself to drop anyoe for him....
