At 3:30AM i was looking at the stats on CBS and...!!!!

Postby Jack-In-A-Box » Sun May 16, 2004 3:27 am

I was up comfortably on the guy I'm playing this week when I check the stats because I hadnt looked today and I see that all of the sudden I'm losing by over 300pts!! Avg score of the league is about 340 a week. So I started looking at the player stats and found CBS has made a slight scoring error(which im sure will be fixed)
But Chipper Jones' stats for this week-as CBS has em at 330AM.
6-42, 4 R, 3 HR, -29 1B, 28 2B, 2 RBI, 303 BB, 4 3B, 31 SB, 10 CS

Noitce the walks especially!! 8-o

Points are BB,Singles,RBI,R= 1pt
HR- 4pt
SB-2pt
3B-3pt
2B-2pt
So somehow CBS has come up with Chipper having scored 422points for the week! lol Seriously when I first saw this I was a little freaked out and was thinking what the hell did he do?!?!?! Man thats a bad feeling!

303 BB and only 4 Runs? Damn I knew I should have dropped Andrew Jones, the non-producing bum.

Speaking of dropping Andruw.. did you see him drop-kick Giles tonight! :-o

Btw, Chipper is the only one CBS has seemed to have awarded those ungodly stats. Just happened to be the guy I'm playing against has him so it jumped right out at me.

Yeah, I'm in a roto league and I was wondering how at this point in the season a guy could go from almost last in steals to first gaining 11.5 points in the standings. I guess 31 steals from Chipper Jones last night helped out a bit 8-o

I found the same problem with CBS in my league. They had Chipper Jones with 312 walks this season.

Some of the problems got fixed, but I know the Chipper stats hadn't yet.

And to think people are complaining about all the BB to Bonds. He has nothing on Chipper
