I'm ditching hurt Giles -- Brian Roberts a good choice?

There is no Dl on sporstline but as of now, he is on the no drop list. When he is off that list, I am dropping him as I am already behind and need that spot to rotate my pitchers.

So why not trade him to a team with a need at 2B?

Jericho...you'll only need to keep Giles in limbo for two weeks tops. Young will be back by then, and Anderson will hopefully be as well. It's tough when those injuries mount, but in this instance you'll just need to bite the bullet for a brief time.

I'm inclined to agree, but...
It looks like Giles might miss 8 weeks, which is a full HALF of the remaining season! Is it really worthwhile have an inactive player in my line-up for half the season? (I'm playing devil's advocate and assuming that my DL spot will ALWAYS be taken by somebody else.)

Any thoughts?
