i saw the game today and i was expecting the indians to put in betancourt...isnt he their new closer???

1. It wasn't a save situation.

2. Betancourt already pitched yesterday so he didn't need any "work."

3. Jimenez was horrible. Seeing as he's the only current threat to Betancourt's job, I can't see today's box score being bad for Betancourt owners.

Betancourt will get the next opportunity. If he blows it again, then maybe we should start worrying.

When Jiminez came in it wasn't a save situation (4 run lead). Guess mgr could have taken Jiminez out after two runs, but that's kinda like stacking the deck for Betancourt.

Plus Betancourt never even warmed up. White and Stewart were warming when Jimenez was out there.

because Riske is getting more velocity on his pitches, and he has a more closer's metnatlity at least at this point

I saw Betancourt pitch... looks good (seemed like he hid the ball well). He looks like a Closer, and pitches like one too.
