With the way the entire top of the Indians lineup has been producing Martinez is a must play when he starts. ;-D

Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

if you look at the games he's played this season (game log on Yahoo), it looks like he's played every single game. I think he DH's when he's not a catcher, so he can play everyday. Thats very valuable in a catcher. Play him everday.

Look closer, some of those are just pinch hits ;-) . I believe he's only been the DH once this season.

He hasn't played enough if you ask me. I've been bitching about it to no avail. :-D Hopefully he'll be less likely to sit the way he's swinging the bat.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
