Will this guy ever over take Ainsworth? Beginning to wonder if Mazzilli has something against giving him a shot at starting again. But thier rotation is terrible right now looks like he would try someone new and Lopez should be first rather than calling someone up from AAA ball(which they did last week).
Is there something I am missing?

He was moved into the rotation yesterday.
They called up Darwin Cubillan to replace him in the pen, who pitched a few shutout innings against the Angels last night.
As it stands, the rotation is:
Ponson
Lopez
DuBose
Bedard
Cabrera
Ainsworth was sent to AAA to work out his control. He'll hopefully be back up later this season.

I agree with rotoworld's assessment on how R Lopez will do when he starts.
Hitters are going to get used to him once they start facing him 3 times a game and he'll come back down to earth real fast. He was a starter before and those stats wern't that impressive
