I wouldn't trade him now because he won't get you much of anything. I can't see him being this bad all year and frankly with Beltran and Sweeney in front of him he has had a ton of RBI opps he just hasn't come through when they have presented themselves. He won't hit 40 home runs or prob even 30 but he should still get a good amount of RBI's. Of course I could be completely wrong and he really could be this bad all year in which case he is almost entirely useless.

I have offered him up since the beginning of the season. NO takers. Nobody wants him.

At least the OF position is usually the deepest, who is out there that you can drop Juan Gone for?

I was offered a trade for him and jumped on in. I was able to get Rich Harden for Jaun Gone! I'm pretty excited since its a keeper league and I desperately needed pitching (15 team - very deep league).
I'm looking forward to the k per inning that Harden will give me. Plus in his last 3 starts, he's had an ERA under 3.00! Time to rebuild my team with youth.

If he does turn it around it may not be in KC....a video clip is being shown today of him in the celebration after Sweeney's walk-off hit Thursday...he looked so pissed...he didnt congratulate anyone...he was in the on deck circle when the hit happened and he walked away pissed that Sweeny got the game-winner...everyone else was celebrating after a much needed series win....and maybe some good fortunes coming and all he thought of was how he was left out....
I think Juan may get traded before the ASB....he is already a cancer on this team it is looking like....and Thursday wasnt the first episode eitehr...

I dropped Juan yesterday for Jose Guillen in my 8-teamer.

Gonzalez is quickly wearing his welcome out in KC. Not only are his stats equal to a 3rd tier OF, but he's too strange for words. He holes up in his Plaza apartment with his "advisor" who quotes stats and tells him what he wants to hear. He has absolutely NO hustle or defense and has a pisspoor attitude to boot. Basically, what I'm saying is.....he's a SLUG! Dump his butt now!
