f. rod on the angels has been lights out this year. except for giving up one run in the bronx (doesn't say much with that offense), he has been by far the best middle relief guy in the bigs. i'm sold on this kid, his stuff is scary good. i can't think of anyone who comes close.

I agree I can't wait until next year or so when he gets a shot at closing.

does percy's contract run out this year? Frankie has looked great... if I had room for him on my roster I'd put him on.

With that WHIP and K/9, I agree he's the best MR. It's amazing what he's done so far. The ERA is not going to remain that low, but if he keeps up these K/9 numbers, he's entering Gagne territory. I hope the switch to closer (whenever it happens) won't affect his stats.

The best comparison I can make in regards to K-Rod is Octavio Dotel from 2001-2003. Without breaking down the comparison, he is in good company.

If you can afford to carry him as a reserve hold onto him in all keeper leagues.

Lets just hope he gets the save oportunities next year as he will most likely take over for Percival next year.

Depending on your league settings, he is worth haveing active in most leagues.
