Spot Pitching

Postby inviernos » Thu May 13, 2004 6:13 pm

Hey guys, I'm in a 8 team H2h league and i was thinking about maybe going the spot pitcher route, theres a lot of solid starters left and i know it would be a commitment for the season but if i pick up another closer and keep a few top SP's i think it might work out. I'd have the advantage in W's K's and SV's and if im lucky ERA and WHIP may fall into my lap every now and again...well as of now this is my staff, any suggestions of who to keep/drop for this to work

Just keep dropping Lowe and Rogers, if it's only an 8 team head to head, i dont see people rushing after either.

that would normally be true, but its an all red sox fan league, so lowe would be hoarded up pretty fast...thanks for the advice though that's probably what i'll do
