Not bad for a 12th rounder.

sriously. i grabbed him in the 12th also, after wade miller, johan santana and padilla had been taken.

i actually picked him up off the waiver wire last year and wanted him real bad on draft day. he's got such great stuff.

did you see today's start? 11K's in 8 innings, with 2 hits and 2 walks and only one unearned run. kids a monster. i wonder when they will stop tlaking about him being the weak starter on his team. of course, i don't mind, let everyone else take prior, i am happy with zambrano!

my only concern is that with a rather subar infield right now (lets face it, walker and ramirez don't get paid for their gloves) he'll get hurt by poor defense on all his ground balls.

Not too shabby as a 15th rounder either. :-)

This kid is amazing. He could be the best pitcher on the staff by the end of the year.

Zambrano was a great sleeper this year as well as last year. I think a lot of noobs didn't even know about him because Wood and Prior get all the hype and a lot of the veterans were scared away because of the K/BB ratio.

But if you watch him pitch, his stuff is absolutely filthy^10! Don't even think of selling high on Zambrano!

I got Zambrano for $16 and Clement for $12 in my NL-only 5x5 keeper league. Wood went for $35 and Prior went for $36. suckaz!

The best part is that he's still only 22 years old. Glad I got him in my keeper ...
