Say a pitcher comes into the game in a save situation in the bottom of the 8th inning and manages to preserve the lead. The game is then called on account of rain or some other reason. I would imagine that this still gets recorded as a save, right?
the reason I am asking is the ATL-STL game... reitsma was in in the 8th with a 2 run lead and the rain starting to pound down... I was worried that smoltz might not get the op if it were to rain out right there and then...
he is in now

let's see if he can keep the lead...
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.
