im assuming that its bc he was prob not going to get another at bat anyway, but hamstring injuries make me nervous.

I would assume/guess since it was late in a game where he would nto bat again that they were just resting him

didnt relize it was only the 6th!! ohoh - i just hope its not day to day crap like Furcal i hate that - either be in or out!

He was pinch run for after a single...so I think that's the case. No sense forcing him to run the bases when he won't get another AB (unless extra innings) in a day game after a night game.

relax he is fine.....

why let a man continue to run the bases when they are wet and risk the hammy troubles....

they put in a faster runner to take his place at first base.....

i think they just put wise in for baserunning... i sure hope soo... ill kill myself if chipper goes on dl again for the groin. it could be season ending if he did hurt himself again.. im crossing my fingers
