Pitching & Draft Strategy?

Postby P Dogg » Thu May 13, 2004 2:47 pm

I'm in (3) H2H leagues but 1st time in 5x5 roto. What is the best strategy (mix of SP & RP) for your 9 starting pitchers?

Also, I have another 5x5 draft coming up what is the best strategy to use? I feel on my 1st draft I'm heavy on pitching and light on hitting.

5x5 Roto
10 team league 24 on roster
Lineup 22 start (2 C, 1 1B, 1 2B, 1 3B, 1 SS, 5 OF, 2 U, 9 P)
Pitching Scoring (Team ERA, Wins, Saves, Team WHIP, Strikeouts)
Batting Scoring (Team Batting Avg, RBI's, HR, SB, Runs)

C - Craig Wilson, Miguel Olivo
1B - Albert Pujols
2B - Michael Young
3B - Eric Chavez
SS - Miguel Tejada
OF - Adam Dunn, Jim Edmonds, Steve Finley, Corey Patterson, Chone Figgins
U - Aramis Ramirez, Mark Teixeira
SP - Pedro Martinez, Josh Beckett, Bartolo Colon, Carlos Zambrano, C.C. Sabathia, Greg Maddux, Carl Pavano, Wilson Alvarez
RP - Keith Foulke, Arthur Rhodes, Jose Valverde
XjoX...pronounced Ex-Jocks..."Too Old To Start...Too Young To Stop Playing"
