I mean, I am still going to play him, but for a switch hitter to be moved down in the order like that, from 5th to 8th, doesn't that seem uneccessary?

there's really nothing more disturbing than seeing a rangers score of 12-3 and thinking maybe Tex did something...only to see a huge 0-4 spot next to his miserable name. :-t

He's on the ALL HYPE team next to Matt Riley so far

That is an idiotic comment. He has been hurt half the year. He has 4 HRs in 60-some ABs--that is like a 35+ HR rate. That's not good enough for you? As for average, again, only 60 ABs. One good week and it will shoot right back up.

The hilarious thing is that if he had a .200/4HR spurt in August, no one would even notice because he BA would drop like .008. It's the beginning of the season for him, chill out.

I wouldn't go that far. He's coming back from injury and is just having a bad few weeks. He'll pick it up, maybe not the numbers he's been hyped to this year, but solid.

I wouldn't worry about batting 8th in that lineup. Look how many RBI's their leadoff hitter has -- the bottom of their order has been hitting pretty well...

Yep, he's right. It doesn't matter where you hit in that lineup, you will get your opportunities to bat in some runs.

When you have 6 guys in the lineup hitting over. 300 -- not a lot of options for a Kltuz hitting .185 ... and falling.

Tex singled in his first AB today. Maybe this is a start of a good streak! I had a chance to pick up Melvin Mora off of waivers a few weeks ago but I kept Tex because I believe... ;-7

Just to drive home how stupid it is to worry about a guy hitting .185 after 65 ABs, he just raised his average 22 points in his first two ABs today.
